Cyber activist Robert Alai has poked holes in the expulsion of Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa.
According to Alai, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has a hand in the Jumwa’s woes.
He claimed that Joho saved Msambweni MP Suleiman Dori because he is the cousin.
“Governor Hassan Joho saved his cousin Suleiman Dori from being expelled from ODM but left his crush Aisha Jumwa. Awuoro!!!” he said.
The National Governing Council (NGC) unanimously agreed to send Jumwa packing after she associated Deputy President William Ruto.
Jumwa, who was fighting to remain in the party, will now have to think of her way forward.
She insisted that she didn’t anything wrong by declaring to work with the second in command alongside her Msambweni counterpart Suleiman Dori.
The Party made the revelation through its official Twitter account.
“Party NGC unanimously votes to expel Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa from the party. The meeting however deferred the decision to expel her Msambweni counterpart Suleiman Dori following his letter of apology to the SG @edwinsifuna in which be apologised to the party for his rebellion,” tweeted ODM.
Dori and Suleiman insisted that they were working with Ruto in the spirit of the handshake. They maintained that Ruto is the right man to take over the leadership of this nation come 2022.
The duo accused Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho over their woes.
They claimed Joho was frustrating them for his own political interest as he seeks to rise to higher levels in the next Presidential race.
Joho has hinted at contesting for the nation’s top seat.
