Kenyan Football Fans have thrown their full support behind Kenya representative club in CAF Confederation Cup Gor Mahia with high expectation of the Club winning the trophy.

This is after Gor Mahia got a sweet revenge against nine-time African Champions and Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek, beating them by four goals to two in CAF Confederation group stage match played on Sunday in Nairobi.

A brace from Jacques Tuyisenge and a goal each from Dennis Oliech and Nicholas Kipkurui were enough to put K'ogalo on top of Group D.

This was an encouraging sign from the team, which has fans dreaming of the team winning the title. 

The winner of the tourney will pocket  US $1,250,000, which is equivalent to about Sh125 million, runners up will receive US $625,000  which is equivalent to about Sh62 million, semi-finalists to pocket US $450,000 equals to Sh45 million and US $350,000 which is about Sh35 million for Quarterfinalists

Gor Mahia next assignment will be away against Petro de Luanda before hosting NA Hussein.
