The Director of Public Prosecution of Saturday released a press statement on alleged expose of Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula involvement in the gold scam.
ODM Communication director Philip Etale, through a series of tweets, told those who have been busy talking and knowing a lot about the gold scam to follow what the DPP press statement had asked the public to do.
The press statement instructed that any member of the public who has information about the gold scandals should report to the relevant office or else they better shut up.
Etale first demanded the 'busybodies' to shut up and wait for the report by investigating officers.
"Now, will the busybodies and their cronies plus choirmasters shut up for now and await the report of the investigating officers," tweeted Etale.
He went further to ask the 'busybodies' to give information they have to DPP, who has directed the Inspector General to give him the report of the same within 7 days and stop making baseless allegations.
"DPP Noordin Haji directs Inspector General to investigate the fake gold saga and hand him the report within 7 days. So the country's busybodies and their cronies should give whatever info they have to the investigating officers and stop making baseless allegations out there," reads another tweet.
The audio had mentioned the name of President Uhuru, ODM Party leader Raila Odinga and Interior CS Fred Matiangi. Etale said the person is now worried after DPP directive.
"Whoever uses the names of Pres. Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, CS Fred Matiangi and those of other influential people to cut deals should be a worried man now. Ole wake," Etale tweeted.
