This is with regards to his new role as the legal representative of two embattled Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) MPs.

The Senate Majority Leader has been contracted by Malindi lawmaker Aisha Jumwa and Suleiman Dori (Msambweni) to prevent their looming expulsion from the party.

The two have been in trouble in the past few days over contravention of party laws.

And despite warnings that he will lose in court, basing on the good record of ODM lawyers, the parliamentarian maintains that he is not a pushover and will deliver a win to his clients.

"Bring them on," was the lawmaker's response when one of his twitter followers cautioned him that he doesn't stand a chance against the likes of Siaya Senator James Orengo, Otiende Amollo (Rarieda) and Edwin Sifuna, ODM legal team.

Jumwa and Dori's awaited ouster follows numerous warnings from the party against their links and public endorsements of Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.

The party has termed it wrong for the two to glorify an outsider.

Some members daring the duo to resign and seek fresh mandate under the Jubilee Party where Ruto is the deputy leader.

However, they have stood their ground, insisting that they remain ODM members until the end of their tenure in 2022.
