Speaking on AM Live early Tuesday, the former Kakamega Senator claimed that opposition leader Raila Odinga, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi are the culprits.

He observed that the trio has since transformed itself into pro-Uhuru and changed its attitude towards the Head of State with the sole aim of overtaking Ruto to secure his endorsement for the 2022 race.

‘’What is happening now is that we are having 3 people who are trying to impress the President,’’ he said.

He bashed the leaders, questioning Musyoka’s last-minute U-turn on the Head of State and Gideon’s attempt to cling on both his father and retired President Daniel Moi for political survival.

He also accused Odinga of trying to overshadow Ruto, despite having been of no importance to Uhuru’s stay in power.

‘’Kalonzo is suddenly and out of nowhere on the President’s side yet he has avoided him for the last 7 years. Moi is also trying to cling to both his father and Kenyatta, he is nothing politically,’’ said Khalwale.

‘’Raila is also thinking that he can overtake Ruto to get Uhuru’s endorsement yet he has done anything to the President compared to his deputy,’’ he claimed.

The three leaders have since united under Uhuru’s 'Building Bridges Initiative' which Ruto is seemingly not much into.
