The MP was on Tuesday filmed bashing the former Prime Minister and accusing him of misleading President Uhuru Kenyatta after politically netting him.

He claimed that Raila is using his March 9 truce with Uhuru to destroy the Jubilee Party's development and succession agenda.

"Raila please leave our son alone, do not mislead him, just leave him alone," he called out through the media.

This was when he staged a defiance demonstration in Nakuru, a day after Uhuru rubbished his concerns as senseless.

However, speaking to Radio Jambo on Thursday morning, in a turn of events, he claimed that his respect for Raila remains intact.

He added that there is no bad blood between them and that his problem is Raila's apparent hand in the limping ruling party's woes.

"I respect Raila and Uhuru. My problem is that they seem to be the reason why our party seems to be having problems," he added.
