A middle-aged man was on Monday arraigned at the Kangundo Law Courts for being in possession of bhang.
The suspect, Sammy Mbithi appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Desiderius Orimba.
He denied the charges levelled against him.
According to the prosecution, Mbithi was arrested on Sunday afternoon by police in Tala. while in possession of 429 rolls of bhang and 800 grams of unpackaged bhang.
According to the police, Mbithi is the largest supplier of the drug in Tala town.
He was released on Sh200,000 bond with a surety of the same amount. The accused will appear in court again on May 27 for the mention of the case.
In the same court Joel Nzuki was charged with defiling a minor.
Nzuki denied charges of defiling a 17-year-old girl between May 5 and May 7, 2018, in Kangundo town.
He was released on Sh200, 000 bond with a surety of the same amount where the case is set for mention on May 27 in 2019.
