The daughter to Abubakar Joho, Kulthum Abubakar Joho on Friday, March 8, wedded Haikal Omar Osogo in a colourful Muslim wedding.

Known as Nikah in Islamic religion, the wedding held at Musjid Ummu-Kulthum in Kizingo, Mombasa saw several politicians in attendance.

Alias Abu Joho, Abubakar Joho is the eldest brother of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.  

Political leaders who were present in the wedding ceremony include Joho, ODM party leader Raila Odinga, Kilifi County Governor Amason Kingi, his Nairobi counterpart Mike Sonko and former Mombasa County gubernatorial candidate Suleiman Shahbal.

"I appreciate the invite and do wish the newly weds a life full of love, joy and happiness," said Shahbal after the Nikah.
