A section of Members of the Homabay County Assembly now say that they will avoid assembly speaker Elizabeth Ayoo.
Led by acting speaker Evans Marieba and House Majority Leader Walter Muok, the group has accused the embattled speaker of provocation.
This comes amid an ongoing disagreement between the group, and the other allied to the Speaker.
The members are now claiming that the speaker is using the same to spark rows and fights in the house.
To ensure a smooth flow of the house henceforth, they said on Friday, they will avoid and run away from Ayoo as she keeps provoking them.
“We have decided to let Ayoo do her business in this Assembly without any chaos. We will continue running away from her whenever she intends to provoke us,” Marieba is quoted by the Standard.
This comes barely a month after the majority side led by Muok impeached the speaker in her absence over allegations of bias and incompetence.
This succeeded a fracas in the house, where Ayoo claimed that she was assaulted by the group led by Muok.
She has since been reinstated by the Kisumu Labour Relations court which directed that no attempt should be made to challenge or complicate her stay in office.
