This is one of the most profitable businesses in the private sector. Starting this business is not as expensive as it may appear since you can start it even with ten chickens. Due to its nature, your business will grow to hundreds of chickens if well taken care of. You can opt for either broilers or layers.
Black coffee hawking
This business is profitable yet it only requires a flask and about Sh1,000. It is always at a peak in the morning, evening and cold seasons.
Selling second-hand clothes
Popularly known as mitumba, this business requires as little as Sh2,000. You only need to identify an appropriate location and adhere to the county government’s regulations. Majority of Kenyans prefer second-hand clothes compared to new clothes thus making the business more profitable.
