Villagers from Omokorindo were left in rude shock after a 50-year-old man chased his son's lover from home.
Neighbors said Justus Ombaki chased Vane Mogoi with a Panga when she went to check on her lover, Francis Ombaki.
"Mogoi has been in a relationship with Francis but, Francis's father is against the relationship. She was chased with a panga by her father-in-law to be when she went to check on Francis," said Moses Opanga.
Mr. Opanga said Ombaki upon questioning said his son, Francis is not ready to marry Mogoi.
"Ombaki said his son has no time to make love with Mogoi who is a village lady" said Opanga.
Area Nyumba Kumi official, Walter Onchego confirmed the incident and said the girl entered a neighbor's house where she hid until Ombaki was persuaded to leave her to go.
"Mogoi revealed that she is in deep love with Ombaki's son. She was not harmed during the incident," said Onchego.
