Led by Riana Ward MCA Vincent Moisabi, the MCAs said Ruto should resign voluntarily without being forced.

"Ipsos released a report that ranked Ruto as the most corrupt top leader in the country. We are, therefore, urging him to resign from his position for President Uhuru Kenyatta to appoint a different person to ensure he completes his term in 2022 in peace," he said.

"Ruto is tainting the good name of his boss by engaging in corruption. The DPP Noordin Haji should order investigations to be done so that Kenyans will know how DP Ruto acquired his wealth," said Moisabi.

On his party, Monyerero Ward MCA Paul Angwenyi accused Ruto of being interested in making wealth for his family instead of serving Kenyans.

"Ruto is busy stealing public money to make wealth for his family instead of him using the same money to fund development projects. Uhuru should sack him," he said.

Their sentiments were reiterated by Bomariba Ward MCA Protus Moindi Aramba who argued that Ruto should not continue to be in office since he will allegedly continue engaging in corruption.

"It is high time Ruto resigned failure to which he will continue stealing public funds," said Aramba.

The MCAs were speaking on Wednesday evening at the county headquarters.
