NTV news anchor Dennis Okari is a step close to opening another door of life.
On Friday morning, the ex-husband to K24 news anchor Betty Kyallo exchanged wedding vows with his new fiancé, Naomi Joy.
The event that took place at Ridgeways Baptist Church was an invite-only ceremony.
The secret ceremony got many people by surprise as some of the invited guests didn’t know the venue until Friday morning.
“I was called by organizers of the function yesterday evening and they asked me to call them once I get to Kiambu Road — so that they give me directions thereafter,” said one of the guests at the wedding as quoted by Citizen’s eDaily.
The source also revealed that a wedding reception would follow later in the day at the Royal Gardenia Grounds on Kiambu Road.
No paparazzi were allowed at this function.
Mr. Okari had warned all those invited against taking videos or pictures of his secretly organized event.
This comes just days after Okari ex-lover Betty Kyallo, whom they have a kid together, wished him good luck with his new fiancé.
“I am happy for him, Okari. I wish him the best. And, to everyone else who has gone or is going through the same thing, separation/divorce, you are human, life happens; move on and find your happiness. I am happier outside marriage,” Said Betty Kyallo.
