Deputy President William Ruto’s allies led by MP Oscar Sudi and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen have finally spoken after Zedekiah Kiprop alias Buzeki ditched Jubilee Party.
Buzeki left Jubilee Party to join Chama Cha Mashinani(CCM) party. Murkomen has said that they will deal with Buzeki and other rebels in 2022.
“We shall deal with them when campaign time comes and we shall separate the wheat from the chaff,” said the Senate Majority Leader.
Sudi on his part challenged Buzeki to come out clearly and say that he has shifted to the ‘Kieleweke’ group instead of giving excuses.
According to Sudi, Buzeki was the most appropriate candidate for Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat in 2022 and he was even ready to campaign for him.
“I had offered myself to be a strong supporter of Buzeki, but he is now failing to play his cards well. He should come out clearly, that he and his supporters are joining Kieleweke team instead of using other excuses,” Sudi stated.
Ruto’s political ‘Tanga Tanga ‘ group has of late been in limelight as more cracks and political confusion continue to be witnessed. Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos has also distanced himself with the group.
