Former Kisii Senator Chris Obure, speaking on Monday at Daraja Mbili market, argued that DP Ruto is busy serving Kenyans.

Mr Obure insisted that Raila's plan to kick out DP Ruto out of Jubilee party won't yield fruits.

"The former Prime Minister need to keep off DP Ruto so that he can have humble time helping President Uhuru Kenyatta serve Kenyans better. Raila's plan to send DP Ruto from Jubilee party won't work whatsoever," he said.

The vocal politician wondered why Raila will continue dragging DP Ruto into graft allegations yet the time DP Ruto was in opposition he was a 'saint'.

Obure dismissed claims that DP Ruto is opposed to the ongoing graft war adding that no focused leader will condone corruption.

"Ruto is not mad to oppose graft war. Kenyans should ignore claims by opposition leaders that DP Ruto is silently opposing the ongoing graft war," stated Obure.

The ex-senator who decamped from ODM party to Jubilee party during the 2017 polls said DP Ruto's chances to clinch Presidency in 2022 are high.
