Kilome MP Thaddeus Nzambia now wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to offer Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka a job in his government.
The MP says that Kalonzo is experienced enough and could help President Kenyatta’s Jubilee government actualize its development agenda.
Speaking in Kilome Town on Monday, Nzambia said that Kalonzo’s expertise in matters diplomacy and foreign relations is not being put to use and he should be considered for a state job.
He said that the former Vice President could help Jubilee government in the fight against corruption if awarded a state job.
“President Kenyatta should consider Kalonzo for a state job if he wants to leave a good legacy in 2022,” he said.
Nzambia said that Kalonzo has been in the political cold for a long time and that it is time the government in regards to the building bridges initiative considered him for a state job.
There are claims that Kalonzo could land state job in case President Kenyatta makes Cabinet reshuffles.
Confidential sources say that the president could reshuffle his Cabinet and top government officials in a move to curb corruption.
Last week, Kalonzo declared full support for Uhuru in his purge against corruption.
Kalonzo asked the president not to show mercy to people linked to corruption scandals.
