An angry man hanged himself on Saturday evening protesting wife's adultery.
The incident happened at Mogoga village in Bogitaa, Bonchari Sub County in Kisii County.
Alfred Keragori, a neighbour said the deceased Moi Guto has been complaining about his wife's adultery but, the woman could not change her immoral behaviour.
"Moi threatened to take his own life after his wife Divinah Nyaboke took too long to return home from a market. The deceased then locked himself in the bedroom and took his own life. His lifeless body was found dangling from the roof," said Keragori.
Confirming the incident area chief Edward Mamwacha said he has been solving the couple's wrangles for the last 7 months.
"The deceased has been accusing his wife of having several men outside the wedlock. It seems Moi could not take in the embarrassment and decided to take his own life," he noted.
The chief urged couples to remain faithful in marriage.
He urged people not to commit suicide when they realize their partners are adulterous.
The body of the deceased was moved to Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital morgue.
