Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has shed more light on his presidential ambitions.
Speaking during an interview with the Standard, Gideon stated that he is yet to declare his interest and that will only come out with time.
He pointed out that at the moment, he has an agenda to deliver as the Baringo Senator as he consults on his ambitions.
“I have not stated so yet because this is a matter that takes wide consultations with a wide range of players, it is ongoing right now and it will manifest itself in good time,” he said.
He claimed that he had no clue why people keep dragging his name in their 2022debate.
“I don’t know. I wish you could tell me. I am just focused… I am focused on my current job description. As for those who want to drop their JD’s and focus on me, I say C’est la vie, that’s life!”
Political pundits predict that the younger Moi will give DP William Ruto a run for his money during the 2022 general election.
During the interview, Gideon added that Kanu seeks to rejuvenate itself in 2019.
