Speaking on Friday at Mbuuni, Kathiani sub-county, Kalonzo said that so far, nothing has been achieved since many who have been prosecuted are out on bail.

He observed that once they're out on bail, they continue to steal or engage in the same activities.

"I still insist that I'm waiting for the big fish to be arrested. That way, Kenyans will see something is being done, said Kalonzo adding that "we have seen suspects being granted bail like Samburu Governor and other suspects. If we want to win this fight, we must invent a different approach. Let it be precise so that people will see Mr President is serious in this fight," said Kalonzo.

Kalonzo also urged Ukambani governors to ensure they don't misuse public funds. He urged them to set aside funds to deal with the drought that is glaring at the residents.

"Due to how things have turned out to be, leaders should find ways to provide for their citizens. Every leader here Kamene, Mbui and others; work with the county government. I hope they will set aside money so that our people get food," he said.

Kalonzo had attended a thanksgiving ceremony for Kathiani MP Robert Mbui.

Other leaders in attendance were Matungulu MP Stephen Mule, Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi among other leaders.
