Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has hit out at Baringo Senator Gideon Moi for allegedly using media to fight Deputy President William Ruto.
Speaking at Mugundoi in Kesses constituency during the burial ceremony of Mzee Richard Kiplel on Saturday, Sudi told the KANU chairman that elections are not won through propaganda in the media but through the development and vigorous campaign.
The MP claimed Senator Moi was using family-owned Standard newspaper to paint DP Ruto negatively.
"I want to categorically tell the Baringo senator to stop using the media to gain political mileage by always ensuring there are negative stories against Ruto," said Sudi who reiterated that using the media will not make him the president in 2022.
"You fought William Ruto and today he is the deputy president by the grace of God. You will continue fighting him and if it's God's wish come 2022 he will be the president since we know your plans of ensuring that he does not ascend to power," he added.
The MP further warned the media against being used by politicians to gain political mileage ahead of 2022 general elections.
