Almost three years after the dastardly attack that claimed the lives of at least 147 innocent people, Duale's list is yet to come.

The outspoken legislator has remained mum in spite of pressure for him to release the list.

"We are not playing politics. We are not answerable to anybody and we owe nobody any form of a list. As the leadership, we will work with the security agencies to make sure the region and Kenya is safe from Al-Shabaab. As the northern Kenya parliamentary group, including ministers and [the] governor, we have a responsibility to lead our people and Kenyan people in working to make sure we fight Al-Shabaab and we have made serious actionable recommendations to the President, which are being implemented in [the] northern region, " said while in Garissa, defending himself from accusations that he was playing politics.

It is not clear whether he shared the list with security agencies.

Kenya continues to face threats from Al-Shabaab as the country mounts a military onslaught on the group in Somalia.

The group struck the DusitD2 Hotel on Tuesday and managed to kill at least 21 innocent people before being killed.
