Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has accused Garissa Township Member of Parliament Aden Duale of being behind plans to smear the names of President Uhuru's relatives by implicating them in the sugar saga.
According to the outspoken MP, Duale spoke in parliament about the targeting of Somali people in the sugar saga yet some big fish were being spared only for Cornelly Serem to name Muhoho Kenyatta the following day.
This is an indicator that Duale was involved in the plans to soil the name of President Uhuru Kenyatta relatives in the illicit sugar saga that has gripped the Kenyan public for days on end.
''Duale was in Parliament and he said that there were people who are trying to go after his community, the Somali. They are going after the petty thieves, the chicken thieves and leaving the big people and then the next day we see the next day we see Serem wake up and pull out a party associated with Muhoho Kenyatta,'' MP Wambugu said on Sunday.
MP Wambugu appeared in a panel discussion that also featured Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei on a local television station.
His tough words add another twist to the fallout of the lifestyle audit that had been proposed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
