A driver who operates one of the school buses in Nakuru is on the spot for allegedly being reckless.
Parents took to social media on Monday to call for action against the driver before an accident occurs.
Moses Mwathi, a parent, called on Mizpah school in Bahati to reign in on their driver as he accused the school’s bus of being driven carelessly.
“Can the Mizpah school administration in Bahati ward Nakuru caution their driver who picks children in the morning to drive carefully and slowly to avoid accidents that can happen (sic),” Mwathi wrote.
He added that the school bus has become a threat to other road users.
“Other school going children scamper into bushes wherever this school vehicle is heard or seen (sic).”
The post received back up from other parents who have apparently observed how the bus is driven.
“I have seen it severally. We gonna report the driver the driver and avoid the danger ahead,” Jackson Ngotho said.
Efforts to reach the school or the driver for a comment were futile.
