Police in Kisumu on Wednesday launched a manhunt for a man who is allegedly advertising his own son for sale. The man identified as Tabu Mubasa from Baba Dogo estate in Kisumu, fled the town after the news regarding his arrest reached him.According to his wife Flora Mubasa, police from Kondele Police Station visited their homestead on Wednesday afternoon looking for the suspect.“Yesterday, police came here and searched every corner of the house. I told them that my husband was not here. They left pledging to find him,” she said.Over the past weeks, the suspect has been exposing pictures of his son on social media, asking people to help him get to Illuminati group so that he can exchange his son for cash. “He used to joke to his friends that he wanted to sell his son. He said that he can make a lot of money from the sale,” said Flora.According to the neighboring residents, the man was never proud of his son because of his physique, a claim that his wife denied.“There is no way a father can hate his son. My son’s head had a problem during birth, but he remains my son,” she added.#hivisasaoriginal
