Bobasi MP Innocent Obiri Momanyi has called on his constituents to pray for President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to the lawmaker, for the Head of State to win the graft war, prayers are needed.
"We should not abandon Mr Kenyatta. He needs our prayers so that he can fight corruption to the end," he said.
The MP insisted that politicians cum-cartels are out to oppose the war on corruption.
"Individuals who have accumulated wealth through dubious dealings must be brought down. I'm begging my constituents to remember President Uhuru Kenyatta in prayers so that he can deal graft to the latter end," maintained Obiri.
He challenged Deputy President William Ruto to advise his close political allies who are secretly fighting the handshake.
"There is need for DP Ruto and his allies to support the handshake. Mr Kenyetta agreed to shake hands with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga not only to unite the country but, also ensure graft is fought to end," he added.
The vocal legislator urged elected leaders from Kisii county to use wisely public funds to fund development projects purposely to boost the lives of the electorates.
