Former Nairobi governor aspirant Miguna Miguna is happy with Nairobi governor Mike Sonko.
Miguna on Friday evening lauded Sonko for his decision to intervene and airlift former female boxing champion Conjestina Achieng' to Nairobi for treatment and subsequent rehabilitation.
He said the decision is one that all Kenyans should emulate, accusing opposition leader Raila Odinga of failing to help Conjestina. Raila comes from Siaya where Conjestina's rural home is.
"Let me thank Mike Sonko for extending a helping hand to Conjestina Achieng' who hails from a region that Raila Odinga - a looting billionaire coward - and his killing machines, have reduced to conditions that are unfit even for wild beasts," Miguna said.
Conjestina was airlifted from Kisumu International Airport to Nairobi on Thursday and is expected to be treated before being rehabilitated. Sonko has promised her a job thereafter.
Miguna thanked Sonko who has been his political arch-rival after the two faced off during the August 8 general election for the Nairobi gubernatorial post. Sonko won with a landslide margin.
Miguna since then has been describing the governor as an 'academic dwarf' who can't manage the cosmopolitan county that generates over 60 percent of Kenya's total annual revenue.
He also used to claim Sonko is too corrupt to lead.
