The assembly's Majority Leader Mark Muendo said Mutua has lost respect for women.

Muendo who doubles as Kinanie MCA said it was wrong for Governor Mutua to refer to the speaker as 'Kaveti' during his tour to Mwala Sub-county on Saturday.

"It's shameful and demeaning for a whole governor to stand up before a crowd and call the speaker names he wouldn't want his mother called. Whatsoever, the governor should get his act together," Muendo said.

Muendo trashed Mutua's claims that MCA's were given bursaries but misappropriated them.

"The governor is the one who should be telling us where he took the bursaries instead of pointing accusing fingers at us," Muendo said,

Muendo spoke at Ndithini in Masinga sub-county on Monday.

On Saturday, Mutua who toured Mwala sub-county said the speaker has been frustrating his efforts to offer services to Machakos people.

"Ve kaveti ke vaaya assembly kwukuniwa simu kakewa kaikithye Mutua ndanathukumi," Mutua said.

Loosely translated as: "There's a small woman at the county who is called every now and then and asked to ensure I don't discharge my duties diligently."
