One of the major changes expected from the body, chairman Wafula Chebukati said, is the relocation of its headquarters from the Nairobi Central District Business.

IEBC headquarter offices are currently held at Anniversary Towers along the University Way.

The body is reportedly in the process of buying its own house to host its offices.

The move might be a reprieve to Starehe MP Charles Kanyi who had been rubbed by political demos to the IEBC offices last year.

"In the recent past, NASA...has made it impossible for individuals and corporate members of my constituency to run their businesses," he said during a press briefing in 2017.
