Garissa Woman Representative Anab Subow flaunted her soccer skills for all and sundry on Sunday at the San Siro Sports Club in Garissa County.

She calmly took a penalty kick and managed to score a goal worthy of Mo Salah by sending the rudderless goalkeeper the wrong way. 

Dressed in a Hijab, the outspoken legislator is seen laughing after scoring her goal in a short video which she shared on social media. 

"Spent quality time with the youth at Sansiro Sports Club in Garissa and ended the weekend with a penalty goal against the opponent team, " she posted on Facebook. 

Subow has vowed to support sports in her county and to help talented youths achieve their dreams. 

Last week, she met with members of the Garissa football team that won Safaricom's Chapa Dimba tournament. 

The somewhat unprecedented success of the Garissa team in the tournament has been hailed as a testament to improved sports standards in the county. 

Sports is being seen by the county administration as a way of fighting drug abuse and radicalisation by the county administration.

With projects such as the Garissa Sports Club, it's hoped that the youth are going to stay out of trouble and instead work on their talents.
