1. Too much witchcraft 

 A Nigerian movie is not complete without witchcraft. The scenes of actors and actresses visiting a witch doctor are just too much. They sometimes take a large part of the movie. The witch doctors are too crafty. If you have not scene witchcraft be sure you are not watching a typical Nigerian movie.

2. Easily predictable 

The title of most Nigerian movies will give you the plot. You can easily predict what will happen to the characters at the end of the movie. The title is direct and simple.  Movie lovers do not need to watch the whole movie to see what it is all about

3. Irrelevant sequels 

The films are characterized by time wastage. You might have seen a movie with too long scenes. You will be left wondering why they are wasting time at a certain scene whenever you watch these movies regularly.

4. Boring storyline  In some movies you do not see the storyline. 

The production simply gathers the actors and actresses to shot a movie without any story to learn anything from.

5. Shooting scenes are a write-off

Some of the scenes are just too awkward. The directors of some of the movies need to be jailed for poor work. They only fight to ensure there is a movie on the market and nothing else.

6. Terrible subtitles

  A good number of Nigerian films are poorly titled. This is one of the reasons many locals do not watch them at all. A movie from part one to 8 but there is no story anywhere.
