Nyamira county government under the Ministry of Education and ICT has identified 11 public secondary schools to benefit from its e-learning programme.
The programme was initiated by donors who will provide the devices to the students in a bid to equip them with computer skills.
According to the county boss John Nyagarama, each school will get one desktop computer and one min- laptop computer to enable students and teachers learn effectively.
"We are going to give the eleven identified schools with one desktop computer and one min laptop computer for effective learning of learners," said Nyagarama.
Some of the selected schools include Manga Girls, Tombe Girls, Gesiaga, Omoyo, Nyaisa, Riomego and five more.
