An 11-year-old boy was found dead in Itumbe Market after he quarreled with his parents over education matters.
According to reports, the boy and the parents fought over which school he should join, with the parents pushing him to pick a different school.
It is said then that he decided to take his own life, to the shock of the parents and the villagers alike.
This is not the first case of young children committing suicide, with similar cases reported in different areas across the country.
He was laid to rest at their Nyaguku home.
On January 8th, 13-year-old committed suicide by hanging himself in his room in Chumani village, Kilifi North Sub-County.
The boy allegedly committed the act after he was denied a gambling game win.
This case came after a similar case where a 9-year-old boy committed suicide after he was also denied a gamble win.
