Kimani Turacco, a popular musician from Kiambu last week set the internet ablaze once again after releasing a short clip of another controversial track dubbed "Muici ni muici" which loosely translate to: "A thief is a thief".
The song sends a strong message to different leaders in government, including President Uhuru Kenyatta whom he refers to as "My friend, Baba Ngina".
Turacco has been making headlines since last month after releasing a song dubbed "Hatuna Deni, Kitaeleweka" meaning 'We owe no one any debt, we must end this'.
In the song, Turacco urges voters from Central Kenya not to rally behind Deputy President William Ruto in 2022, arguing that the region doesn't owe him any debt.
In his new song "Muici ni muici" Turacco asks the President to jail those who have been stealing from Kenyans.
"It is time for jailing...A thief is a thief...We are not afraid of anybody, we don’t fear... Because we don’t fear. Receive greetings, baba Ngina my friend, a man who loves his country, Uhuru Kenyatta," says Turacco in the song.
The artist further puts Uhuru on the spot, saying some of his close friends are the ones stealing from Kenyans. He argues that they deserve to be in jail, especially those who cannot account for the property they have.
"My brother, (Uhuru) there are some hiding beside you. And they are swindling this country with ease. Now they must be jailed. They must carry their own cross. An eye for an eye, we rescue citizens from the jaws of corruption. I wonder who’s that whose wealth is genuine and is reluctant to declare its source," says Turacco.
"And I will feel comfortable when I hear the big fish are jailed," he adds.
The controversial musician also urges Uhuru to scrutinise how the Kiambu County government is run, considering it is the Head of State's home county.
"And now as I finish sir, because you and I use the same route going home, Ichaweri and Kinganjo respectively, in Gatundu South, Kiambu must be scrutinised very well," adds Turacco.
