Nairobi governor Mike Sonko now says that he has more recorded phone conversations just waiting to be leaked out.
Speaking on Milele FM Wednesday morning, Sonko who only recently leaked out his conversation with Kiambu counterpart Ferdinand Waititu noted that he has been recording each and every conversation with quarters seeking his aid to engage in impunity and graft.
The latest, he said, involves a Kenya Railways boss who happens to be related to a Nairobi Member of County Assembly (MCA), which he threatened to release and forward to anti-graft agencies for investigations and possible prosecution in due time.
"Niko na recordings nyingi za watu wanaojaribu kufanya impunity na corruption. Mtu anaponipigia kujaribu kuniingiza hayo mambo namrekodi (I record anyone trying to drag me into impunity and corruption. I have many such recordings),'' he said.
He noted that only 4 people in the entire nation can survive his new trend, saying that he cannot in any way expose his conversations with President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto, opposition leader Raila Odinga and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
''Wale tu ambao siwezi warekodi ni Rais Uhuru, DP Ruto, Raila Odinga na Kalonzo Musyoka lakini wafisadi lazima niwarekodi (only the President, Ruto, Raila and Kalonzo cannot be recorded, the others must),'' added Sonko.
In his exposed conversation with Waititu, the Kiambu governor is heard pleading to have his wife and her 14 co-accused who were arrested in the city released.
