There was drama after two minors were caught right-handed having sex in a coffee plantation on Friday afternoon at Nyabioto, Bogiakumu in Kisii County.
A witness, Emily Oswago, said she was tending to her coffee farm when she spotted the two.
"I was at my farm when I saw the minors, a girl and a boy pretending to be responding to the call of nature. All over sudden I saw the boy dragging the girl deep into the coffee plantation asking her to undress so that they can have sex," she said.
Oswago said she didn't interrupt them.
"After 10 minutes, I approached the scene slowly and I was shocked to see the girl and the young boy romping away," she said.
She said she raised alarm and attracted passersby. Local chief Charles Obonyo said the two are primary school kids with the boy in class 6 and girl is in 5.
The minors were given several lashes of the to chase as discipline for enjoying the forbidden fruit at a very tender age.
