Human rights activist Boniface Mwangi has hit out at Moses Kuria for his continuous criticism to the trade pact between Kenya and Uganda.

Mwangi said Kuria is being a 'coward' for not facing his party leader to air out and launch his complaints to the right channel, instead, he is doing it on social media and in fund-drive functions.

This was after Kuria tweeted last Saturday saying the deal was only to benefit Ugandans and not Kenyans

"Kenya got a very bad trade deal from Uganda bilateral negotiations. Our farmers were left dead. But when Museveni went for a lecture at Kenyatta University, the students did not chant “Take back your sugar, milk, poultry, eggs, tiles & dry port” Instead they shouted “Bobi Wine!”," tweeted the controversial MP.

The activist said Kuria could have taken his complaints to the Parliament where the laws are made and amended.

"Hey Moses Kuria go to parliament and chant your opinion. If you're afraid, text me and l can WhatsApp you President Uhuru Kenyatta's personal number for you to send your chant. Usitubebe malenge hapa, it's your party leader Uhuru Kenyatta, signing those slavery deals," posted Mwangi

Some of the trade deals that Kenya signed with Uganda included Uganda exporting their poultry, sugar, dairy products, tiles among others into the country.
