Celebrated gospel artiste Kambua on Friday excited Kenyans after she revealed that she was expecting a baby.
Kambua shared the heartwarming news during Daybreak Show that airs on Citizen TV. She also revealed how Kenyans bullied her for not having a baby since she wedded six years ago.Interestingly, a university student from Maseno has come out to claim she played a big role in Kambua's pregnancy.Sarah Julu Atieno said that she went on her knees to pray for Kambua on learning that some people were bullying her for not having a baby.She took to Twitter back in 2018 May, where she faithfully declared that Kambua will have her own baby."Am going to set a Novena Prayer to St Jude ,,,Praying for Kambua,,,be sure you're going to carry your own baby#GodLives," read her tweet dated last year May.
Atieno said she felt touched to see Kambua bullied online, which made her pray for her to conceive.
"I used to see her face cyber bully. I'm a woman and seeing a woman face such due to lack of a child, it pained me a lot. I felt it. I wish I knew her in person. The best I could do silently was to pray for her. That was the best way I could stand with her being her greatest fan.🙏," she posted.
Other Kenyans on different social media platforms are also thanking God and congratulating Kambua for her pregnancy. Many are saying it is only in God where everything is possible, and that giving up should not be one's option.
