Displeased with the officers attitude towards a bodaboda rider, Longanyapuo is seen removing the spikes from the road as he accuses the AP officers of being at the site illegally.

He's then seen making a call to a senior police officer from the region where he contests the deployment of AP on Kenya roads.

The angry KANU governor insists to the officer on phone that traffic matters falls under jurisdiction of Kenya Traffic Police.

Further, he condemns the AP officers of allegedly soliciting bribes from unsuspecting motorists contrary to the rule of law.

While addressing a brief press conference, Longanyapuo asks Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i and Inspector General Joseph Boinet to 'train their officers'.

Cases of civilians or leaders going brutal against police officers have intensified in the last one week with two separate videos showing officers on the receiving end.

For the better part of Thursday, Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i joined police officers along Nakuru-Nairobi Highway in the ongoing crackdown on rogue motorists.
