Political analyst Ambrose Weda has ranked Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General Edwin Sifuna among the most promising leaders in the nation.
Speaking on Wednesday, Weda said that the former Nairobi senatorial aspirant is bright and could go as far as being the President in the future.
However, he noted that Sifuna appears to be in the wrong place currently, adding that he would have more potential if he ditched the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.
Weda claimed that Sifuna, with the mentorship of serious political leaders in the country like President Uhuru Kenyatta, would go further than he has ever imagined.
"Sifuna is a brilliant and promising young politician and can even be the president in the future if he is mentored by serious people like President Uhuru Kenyatta," he said.
Weda was speaking on KBC English Service's The Big Conversation show on Wednesday morning.
The High Court advocate said that Sifuna might, however, remain exactly where he is if he remains in ODM where he is allegedly being misused.
"He should stop dancing to the tune of the ODM leadership because he stands very low chances of succeeding there. He should not allow himself to be sent to yap on behalf of the party leadership," he added.
Sifuna is yet to declare any ambitions for the top seat.
