The vocal Jubilee legislator claimed that President Uhuru will soon fall-out with Odinga once he realises the latter's  hidden agenda.

Speaking during an interview on K24 TV State of the Nation on Sunday night, Barasa claimed that the president has sidelined his deputy, William Ruto in favor of the former premier.

The MP alleged that Odinga has managed to use the handshake to undermine Ruto's role in government.

"This relationship between President Kenyatta and Raila will not last long because Raila as a person and a politician cannot be trusted" he said during the interview.

The legislator claimed that Raila hatched the handshake to bargain for power in the 2022 general election.

Barasa stated that it will be too late when President Kenyatta realises that the former Prime Minister is "a political conman".

Regarding 2022, The MP noted that President Kenyatta has no option but to honor what he and Ruto agreed on in 2013.
