The Malindi MP has been described as the iron lady of Coast politics.

Jumwa is among veteran female politicians from the Coast region.

The MP was recently expelled from ODM for allegedly working with DP Ruto.

Jumwa has openly backed Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.

There is speculation that Kilifi governor Amason Kingi could endorse Jumwa as his successor in 2022.

3. Abdulwasmad Nassir

The Mvita MP is among youthful politicians in Mombasa and the larger Coast region.

A close ally of Governor Hassan Joho, Nassir also enjoys cordial relationship with Raila Odinga.

Nassir is being seen as governor Joho's perfect successor in the anticipated 2022 polls.

The Likoni MP is also among vocal Coast female politicians.

Mboko enjoys massive support from women and youth in Mombasa.

The first term Nyali MP has hinted on vying for the Mombasa governor seat in 2022.

Ali has often criticised governor Joho accusing his government of allegedly failing to champion development.

The first term Kwale Women Representative is said to be eyeing the governor seat in 2022 polls.

A close ally of Raila Odinga, Juma is likely to succeed governor Salim Mvurya who is serving his final term in office.
