Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday hosted Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru at his Karen offices.

The meeting was graced by MPs and MCAs from Kirinyaga County.

"The National Government has offered counties full backing to enhance service delivery including legislative, advisory and monetary support. We expect all leaders- MCAs, MPs, senators and governors- to work together and serve the interests of the people," said Ruto after the meeting.

The meeting comes just a day after an survey by IPSOS revealed that a majority of Kenyans think that Ruto is the most corrupt public figure followed by Waiguru.
