Police in Njoro Police Station in Nakuru are holding a policeman accused of defiling a minor.
Bernard Kipng'etich sang', a General Service Unit (GSU) officer reportedly defiled the form three student for 4 days.
He is accused of luring the seventeen year old girl who is a student at Mwigito Excellent School to a lodging at Neissut market where he held and defiled her for the days.
According to Nakuru Police Commander, the officer is suspected to have detained the student from November 10 to November 14, 2018.
The police boss noted that the student was reported missing between the dates, reports the Citizen Digital.
He said that the disappearance was reported by the girl's parents before she resurfaced days later.
The officer, he added, is stationed at a GSU camp in Marsabit County, and was discovered to have picked the girl up before her disappearance.
Both parties, he said, will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of the ongoing investigations, wig the officer set to face defilement charges.
The girl who was also arrested was taken for medical examination at the Njoro Sub-County hospital.
