Bongo star Harmonize has finally spoken after the anticipated event that left his fans and Eldoret residents’ hopes lashing.
According to the Kwangwaru hit maker, he did not mean to disappoint his fans but it was painful for the fans to buy tickets and the promoter could not finish the payment.
Through a post on his Facebook page, Harmonize noted the promoters did not show him respect by failing to pay him the agreed amount.
He has also been saddened by how his supporters were treated after demanding for him.
“BINAFSI NAJUA KIASI GANI PESA INATAFUTWA KWA UGUMU BUT KWA MAPENZI YENU MLIJITOA KUJA KUNI SUPPORT SIO KWASABABU MIE NI SPECIAL SANA....!!! NI KWA UPENDO WENU TUU ILA KILICHONISIKITISHA NI PROMOTERS KUCHUKUA PESA ZA WATU WASIO PUNGUA 4000K THEN WAKASHINDWA KUJA KUMALIZIA PAYMENT ILIYOBAKI NA KUKIMBIA HII INAUMIZA SANA (Personally, I know how hard it is to find money but you came to support me. It is not that I am special but it is because of your love. However, what troubled me is how promoters did not finish up the payment despite the fact that tickets were sold),” posted the artist.
He also promosed his supporters and fans that he will not make the same mistake of landing into the country before receiving the full payment.
“NI DALILI YA KUNIVUNJIA HESHIMA NA UAMINIFU KWA MASHABIKI ZANGU. IMENIUMIZA KUONA WATU WALIOJITOA KULIPA VIINGILIO VYAO JUST FOR ME WANADHULUMIWA MWISHO KABISA. NISEME SAMAHANI #ELDORET 🙏🙏 NEXT TIME NITAHAKIKISHA TUMELIPWA DOO YOTE KABLA NI COME TRUST ME I'M SO....!!! DISAPPOINTED AND I LOVE YOU AND I WAS EXTRA READY (It was disrespect to me and I was pained to see those who paid tickets mistreated. Lastly I am sorry and next time I will make sure I am paid all the money before I come),” added the Bongo star in a lengthy post.
Many followers have reacted on his post both negatively and positively:
“I think this is not right for you, you claim you were given half the money and since they fail to pay you in full, you decided not to show up, so I will not be wrong to say you concluded with this conmen…,” opined Serem Alvin.
“Just know Kenyans are not trustworthy. Next time get paid before you board,” posted Faith Mwakideu.
