Bahati had initially changed his hairstyle to long dreadlocks, a move which his wife Diana Marua was not happy about.

After a few weeks of the singer’s baby mama complaining, Bahati shaved off his long dreadlocks and reverted to his original hairstyle. But before doing so he sought advice from his Tanzanian colleague Rayvanny.

In a short premier video of Being Bahati reality show that the ’10 over 10’ hitmaker shared on Instagram, Rayvanny is seen taking side with Diana Marua.

“If your wife does not love your dreadlocks just shave them,” Rayvanny advised Bahati.

The WCB artist made it clear to Bahati that if his wife was not comfortable with the dreadlocks, then the best decision was to remove them.

In one of his Instagram posts, Bahati also sought advice from the netizens on whether to listen to his wife or not.

“If You Support @Diana_Marua that I should SHAVE... Comment hapa 👇 NYOAAA,” His Instagram post read.

Bahati and Rayvanny have established a close relationship ever since they released a collabo titled ‘Nikumbushe’. The two singers are among the top artists in East Africa.
