The deal was struck on live television interview on Wednesday's JKL, after the Senator and Rutto disagreed on the ongoing evictions in the water catchment destination.

To settle the dispute, they agreed to visit the place, with Rutto rubbishing Ole Kina's allegations of massive destruction inside the forest.

He further faulted the lawmaker's claims that the forest dwellers have gone past the cutline established by the government to venture deep inside the forest.

To facilitate the trip, Rutto volunteered to provide a chopper, in a flight that will also see the team accompanied by a cameraman to film the actual situation inside the complex.

"Let's do it next week before the next version of JKL. There will be one chopper in which myself, the two of you and your (Koinange) cameraman will ride and witness for ourselves," said the former county chief.

This follows Narok County Commissioner George Natembeya's confirmation to a section of Rift Valley politicians opposed to the evictions that the operation will proceed.

In a press conference on Wednesday, he urged the group to instead use its influence to aid in the ongoing forest conservation process.
