Having already qualified to the KPL for the 2018/19 season, KCB heightened its attack against Nairobi Stima and crashed their hope of booking a berth in the promotion-relegation playoff, after condemning the Ruaraka based side 4 - 1 in the NSL final match of the season, staged on Saturday at Camp Toyoyo Ground, Jericho, Nairobi.

Nairobi Stima, then tied on 68 points with Ushuru, went in the game hoping to register good result at the expense of Ushuru, but the tides favored Ken Kenyatta charges after holding Bidco United in a 1 - 1 score. 

As a result, Ushuru leapfrogged Stima with a point, to finish third on the log with 69 points and set a date with KPL 16th placed Nakumatt FC.

At Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, Ushuru outcast Lwamba Bebeto came haunting his former side as he put Bidco in front on the 30th minute. 

Albeit, Ushuru got a lifeline with the dismissal of Victor Ayugi, who received the marching orders, minutes before the halftime break. Former Harambee Stars Paul Kiongera equalized for the taxmen.

Ushuru will play Nakummatt in a two-leg relegation-promotion playoff match scheduled for 21st October and 28th October.

In Kisumu, FKF NSL champions Western Stima bagged the league in style with a 3 -2 thumping of Talanta, to finish on a notch high with 80 points. 

Maurice Dukuly's, Laban Ngambareko and David Ojuang scored for Western Stima while Emmanuel Mogaka and Job Tinyo scored for Talanta.

Meanwhile, GFE hopes of remaining in the nationwide league were brought to an end, despite a 1 - 1 draw against the host, Migori Youth. 

The Eldoret's Golden Field Evangelism (GFE) will join Nakuru All-Stars in the Division one league next season, after a horrific season.
