Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has blasted Garissa County politicians for allegedly assaulting Somali government.
Ahmednasir made the statement in response to a tweet sent out by former Fafi Mp Elias Bare concerning the use of khat among Somali residents and how it is affecting their health.
On his part, however, Ahmedasir believes that Garissa County politicians are assaulting the Somali government, in terms of clans, because the areas they support like Jubaland and Ethiopia Somali region are failing or have already failed.
"We are noticing a sustained and alarming jingoistic clan-centric assault on the Somali Government from politicians from Garissa county just because the fiefdoms they support in Jubaland & the Ethiopia Somali region is either on the verge of collapsing or has already collapsed," tweeted Ahmednasir on Saturday.
In an earlier tweet, Bare blasted Abukar Awale, an anti-khat campaigner, for failing to understand that the use of khat in Somali cannot be solely blamed on Somali President Mohamed Farmaajo since he is not in full control of the country.
"My brother @Abukarawale you are doing a noble job by reminding #Somalia's people that #Khat is poisonous to their health and wealth BUT you are failing to understand that President @M_Farmaajo is not in charge of the country technically. @mukhtarainashe @osmando #Mogadishu," tweeted Bare.
