Speaking on Saturday, the parliamentarian predicted that President Uhuru Kenyatta will soon take it upon himself to rid his leadership of such elements.

This he based on Uhuru's fiery message on Wednesday where he warned that nobody should try to tag his community along in once the law catches up with them.

He said that what is likely to follow is an offensive on Uhuru's officials implicated in corruption and those whose ministries and departments have been tainted by the same.

"The way Uhuru has been speaking lately it is very likely that we will soon begin seeing victims. The president is not happy," said the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Nairobi Chair.

Aladwa was speaking on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi Show.

He predicted an instance where the named persons will be ousted from their positions and arraigned in court before being taken to jail for defrauding the public.

"In the next one month we could begin seeing people being fired and taken to jail. Uhuru will personally spearhead the operation," the legislator  added.

Uhuru has repeatedly declared war on the vice since his reelection in 2017, but no major conviction has been witnessed so far.

Also present for the interview was Aladwa's predecessor Benson Mutura.
