Kalonzo said it's a wishful thinking for Mutua to think that he can endorse him.

He said it is also a wishful thinking to think that he has given up on his quest for the presidency.

"Me endorse him, that's a wishful thinking on his side. When did I even say I'm not vying," Kalonzo said.

This comes barely a week since Mutua asked Kalonzo to endorse him for the presidency arguing that the the latter is no longer interested.

Kalonzo said his scorecard for the three decades is unquestionable.

"Anyone trying to claim that I have done nothing could be trying to find a scape goat for his failures," he said.

"I have done a lot, it's just that I don't brag. I didn't have CDF, I have never been a governor but tried my best," Kalonzo added.

He said those claiming he didn't do anything, it is just in their mind.

Kalonzo said he hasn't been mentioned in any graft case for the three decades he has been around and that should be reason enough for him to be considered the best shot for the presidency.

He said he is not a Kamba, but a national leader.
